Jenni Kayne x Murchison-Hume Hand Soap
What it is: A collaboration project with Los Angeles Designer Jenni Kayne. We created a special essential oil blend inspired by her laid back, but luxurious California style.
Why we love it: It’s our first foray into naturally scented fragrance! It smells like the California coast: A sophisticated blend of citrus + lavender in a woody base. It’s at every sink and we even dragged it into the shower. We’re literally bathing in it!
How to use it: Use on wet skin to work up a lather and rinse with warm water.
Good to know: It was carefully designed to cleanse without drying. It’s formulated with essential oils of cedarwood, mandarin, and lavender.
Packaging: Refillable, highly recyclable (1) PET plastic.
I was so excited to see this combination of fragrances in their superlative handsoap formula. Sadly I was pretty disappointed in this soap. It doesn't lather like the other soap fragrances, feels like cleaning your hands with an K beauty oil cleanser. It's not terrible but not what I'm used to from this product, they should call it something else. Also the primary smell is of very tart orange/mandarin, I hardly smell the bottom notes like cederwood. Will be asking if there's any way to do an exchange as I loved the rest of the fragrances in this line.
