Palo Santo Incense Stick
WHAT IT IS: A natural wood aromatic incense used to cleanse your spirit and home.
WHY WE LOVE IT: Like a smudge stick, burning Palo Santo (holy wood) is an ancient ritual that dates back to prehistoric times. Used to purify and cleanse, getting rid of misfortune, and even as medicinal treatments. Even if you’re not sold on the “spiritual” side of it, Palo Santo is a natural woodsy scent that also looks great in a soapstone bowl.
HOW TO USE IT: Light one end of a single stick and allow it to burn for 30 seconds, then blow it out. Wave the stick around the area you want to cleanse, and let it rest in your smudge bowl or heat-safe vessel. Make sure you always burn your palo santo in a well-ventilated room and never leave it unattended.
GOOD TO KNOW: This Palo Santo is sustainably harvested from protected Bursera graveolens trees in Ecuador. Only branches from naturally fallen trees are allowed to be used. Branches are left to age for 4-10 years before being harvested, which allows them to develop their rich and complex scent.
DETAILS: Palo Santo smells woodsy (obviously) with notes of citrus and frankincense. Perfect for fall nights and dropping temperatures.
MATERIALS: 8-12 semi-uniform sticks per 2 oz package. Each stick is approximately 0.3" to 4" L
Great incense! Fresh, citrusy, and woody.
