Can a Body Wash Change Your Mood?

Can a Body Wash Change Your Mood?

You know those products that beauty editors whisper about, the ones that make it into their private routines and not just their columns? As a former Fashion & Beauty Editor who now sells fancy soap, I've been on both sides of that beauty counter, and I'll tell you—it's rare that something makes me pause in my tracks.

In my 12 years as an Editor, a rare few "unicorn" products really changed the game: Creme de la Mer, Cle de Peau concealer, and the Shiseido eyelash curler all spring to mind. These products weren’t exactly new, but they were so much better than their competition that they became icons in the Beauty Industry.

Heales Organic Body Wash is one of those products. Trust me, it's not your average, run-of-the-mill bottle tucked in the shower caddy. It is the best body wash I’ve ever tried.

From the signature green label to the way it transforms my shower into a fragrant spa treatment, it’s more than just a body wash—this is mood-enhancing skincare.

The Rosewood Leaf smells just like you imagine: Like roses, but green and herbal like the leaves, not the flower. And the Buddha Wood? OMG. Heaven. It’s woodsy and clean, like if sandalwood and lavender had a sexy love child. It’s Zoe Kravitz in body wash form.

So, yes, they smell amazing, but it’s more than that—I love the slinkiness of the soap itself! My skin is super dry and sensitive, but this body wash leaves it soft enough to skip moisturizing afterward. I use matching Body Oil anyway to bolster that faint but lingering scent!

I’ve had nothing but compliments since I started using it. Mr. Handsome even noticed, and I usually have to do something pretty drastic for him to comment. He said my skin was “silky and smelled delicious.”  If that’s not enough to put you in a better mood, I don’t know what is.

With Love from Your Newly Fragrant and Slinky Friend,
