The Best Home Products On Sale For Memorial Day Weekend

The Best Home Products On Sale For Memorial Day Weekend

The best thing about Memorial Day isn’t the three-day weekend spent in the sunshine, nor is it that it marks the official start of summer. Nope—it’s the sales. If you’re looking to do a little home revamp while the discounts are out, get ready: We don’t often mark our products down, but MH is offering 20% off purchases of $150 or more until Monday night. Ahead, here’s a few of my absolute favorite products on the site worth scooping up before they sell out.

Beauty

Mason Pearson Rake Comb

Sure, $37 for a comb can feel like a stretch, but this Mason Pearson Brush is a cult-favorite detangler for a reason: It’s truly the best comb money can buy. Plus, it can double as decor: This tortoiseshell comb looks astonishingly good atop our marble tray on the bathroom vanity.

Olio e Osso Balms

Hand made in small batches near Portland, Oregon, Olio e Osso’s natural tinted balms are filled with organic olive and Shea oils. I like to swipe some on my lips, then on the apples of my cheeks for a nice (and believable) flush.

Velvet Glove Hand Cream

If we’re being honest, I stock up on hand creams during sale periods because they’re the best gift ever. Not only does the Original Fig scent smell particularly amazing, but it hydrates even the driest hands no matter what season (or climate) we’re in.

Home Decor

Yamazaki Home Tower Wire Dish Drainer Rack

Realistically, a drying rack is something that stays on your kitchen counters until it falls apart—so why not approach it the same way you would a piece of decor? This sleek, modern design is perfect for small spaces, and won’t look like an eyesore in an otherwise well-designed kitchen.

Australian Sandalwood Candle

I keep this Sandalwood candle burning right on my entryway table so it’s the first thing my guests smell. I’ve yet to have someone not inquire about where it’s from.

Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser

This ultra-chic diffuser uses ultra-sonic vibrations to stream pure essential oil and moisture into the air without heating or burning, which means it’s safe to fall asleep next to. Speaking of sleeping, I like to fill mine with lavender oil for a soothing evening in bed.

Cleaning

All-Purpose Cleaner

Practically speaking, there’s never a bad time to stock up All-Purpose Cleaner. I keep one in every room in the house. (Yep, I’m that much of a klutz.)

Jenni Kayne x Murchison-Hume Dish Soap

There’s a real shortage of chic dish soaps, but this collab with Jenni Kayne looks great on my counter. Not only does it work just as well—if not better than—Dawn, I love the way its mandarin, cedarwood and lavender scent fills my kitchen.

Other Favorites

Good Mix Seed Blends

Seeds aren’t exactly something we spend a lot of time talking about—or thinking about—but this blend of 11 fiber-rich superfoods are fantastic for gut health and digestion. I like to sprinkle a tablespoon on top of oatmeal, or add half a cup to a smoothie to, uh, keep things moving.

Murchison-Hume Car Diffuser

I mean, have you seen this car diffuser? Unlike those little card stock trees (or the incredibly obvious clip-ins), this car-diffuser feels truly genderless—and it really works. Plus, its Art Deco-inspired design makes this a unique, elegant, and practical gift for anyone on your list.

Hope you find some time for yourself over the long weekend!
