The Valentine's Day Gift Guide

The Valentine's Day Gift Guide

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, but it’s about so much more than just romantic love. This year, when we’re as isolated as we’ve ever been, we thought it would be appropriate to celebrate all forms of love. There’s a reason gift-giving is one of the love languages, after all. Especially now, when we can't see the people we love as often as we'd like. So whether you’re giving to a valentine, a Galentine, or just practicing some self-love, we have the perfect gift.

Beauty Queen

Stock up on beauty necessities that will get your skin through the rest of winter. We’re talking about super-hydrating face oils, conditioning treatments, and the beauty tools to give you salon-worthy results from your own bathroom. Okay, maybe your manicure won’t be quite as good as your nail salon's, but these crystal nail files will definitely help.

With our skin a little bit dryer than usual, we’ve been slipping a few extra drops of Heales Face Oil into our face moisturizer for a dewy look. Our body needs a little bit of extra love too, so banish ashy elbows and knees with Rohr Remedy’s Body Moisturiser. Take it one step further by giving yourself the full exfoliation treatment with Saya’s Body Polish in a delicious, tropical-inspired coconut scent.

Wonder Valley’s Oil Cleanser comes in a bottle that looks like a piece of art, but the product inside is one of the best oil cleansers I’ve ever used. I love a multi-tasking beauty moment, and the Olio E Osso balms give you a subtle wash of color on your cheeks, lips, and eyes.

The one product that changed my life this year? The Heales Konjac Sponge. The consistent, gentle exfoliation gave me the softer, brighter skin tone I thought was only possible with an Instagram filter.

Neat Freak

Being at home so much, I notice every dusty corner and streaky window. I’m sure I’m not the only one, either! If you or your friends identify as neat freaks, why not let your neat freak flag fly and give some of our best-selling home cleaners?

Our Dish Soap, Hand Soap, and Murchison-Hume Tray is the kind of thoughtful, unexpected set that makes a perfect gift.

For your friend who's all about sustainability, our Refill Concentrates (All-Purpose, Bathroom, and Floor!) will help her reach her zero waste goals a lot faster, especially if you include a glass bottle and DIY label kit.

Do you remember the sexy French duster from Beauty and the Beast? That’s what this ostrich-feather duster would sound like if it could talk. It's the rare cleaning tool that’s dramatic, glamorous, and looks fantastic hanging on a hook.

Lovin' From The Oven

Anyone else feel like their entire quarantine has happened in the kitchen? It’s the perfect time to give your cooking game a little upgrade with pretty but practical items that will make your life easier.

These stoneware larder crocks are at the top of my list for foodie friends. They can store anything: flour, salt, beans, coffee, soy sauce packets from the junk drawer. And they’re safe for fermentation, too!

Speaking of salt, all cooks know that great salt can make all the difference. Pretty pink Himalayan salt is a lovely, Valentine’s themed touch. For everyone with a smaller kitchen, how about a chic dish drainer? Well-designed storage solutions are the gift that keeps giving.

Oh, and of course you need a cocktail carafe because Dry January is over and you deserve a stiff drink.

Clothes Horse

We all have that one friend who has the most fabulous closet in the world, and we all shudder to imagine her dry-cleaning bill.

Help her cut down on her dry-cleaning budget with Garment Groom, which is a combination stain remover/scented refresher that will spot clean better than anything else out there. I also like to use pillows and upholstery, especially since I’m logging a lot of sofa time every weekend.

Keep your leather jacket and beat-up loafers looking vintage chic with our Leather Cleaner.

Bath Time Ritual

It doesn’t get more relaxing than a hot bath, complete with bubbles and a glass of wine. There’s an art to taking a perfect bath, and we’ve got everything you need.

When the tub is filling up, toss in some Himalayan soaking salts to soothe muscles and detoxify the body. Before you get in, take a few minutes to Dry Brush yourself until you get that magical, tingly feeling. Dry brushing helps with circulation, and even cellulite, so really take the time to do something for yourself.

Oh, and don’t forget to light a candle! Soak away, and when you get out, make sure to lather up in some Nuxe Rich Oil to leave your skin silky smooth, and shining.

That’s our idea of a perfect date night for one. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.
